The term Pick Up Artists or PUA’s was introduced and was made known to public by Neil Strauss’ famous book “The Game”.
This sensational book has greatly improved the lives of countless men and changed their dating lives forever.
Today I’m going to briefly explain to you what a pickup artist is and tell the main differences between them (yes, there are differences between PUAs)
Basically, there are two main types of pick up artists: the one who follows a specific PUA routine and the other who uses his natural charisma to seduce attention.
The first type of PUA memorizes a bunch of pick up lines and follows a specific sequence. The sequence of routines is systematically created to effectively attract a woman and build her interest and attraction towards him. If you have read the book “The Game”, then you would certainly know that Mystery is one of these kinds of PUAs.
On the other hand, the second type of PUA uses what is known as “natural game”. He simply uses his natural instinct and his own charisma to magnetically attract women towards him. He starts a conversation with a woman using his own strategy and spontaneously shares some of his funny experiences with her without depending on any scripts. Juggler is a perfect example of this type of PUA from the book “The Game”.
You can choose to become any one of these two types PUAs but I would suggest it would be easier for you to learn “natural game” as it is much easier and comfortable for a guy to pick up. You do not need to memorize any pick up routine and or lines like that. You only need to just be your best self and act just the way you are, but in a way that’s girl friendly. Also, it would be much more satisfying and gratifying in your part if you can seduce a woman by showing her the real you and not the person who taught you the pickup routine.
But here’s a thing, regardless of the strategy you choose, do not forget to work on yourself and concentrate on your inner game. The term “inner game” defines your own values and your self-esteem. No matter how many seduction routines you memorize, if you are not confident and do not have solid inner game, women will be able to tell eventually. Because after all, most men learn the seduction arts because they truly want to work on their personality and become a more interesting person in general. Getting girls is just a by product after the fact.
Keep in mind that you shouldn’t rush your PUA journey.
In fact, you should understand and accept that you’re going to fail a LOT during the learning phase. It’s actually impossible NOT to fail and get rejected at the start. But you just need to keep in mind that this is just a process of the journey and without failure and rejection you’ll never learn what you should or should not say.
I highly advise that you choose one style and concentrate on it rather than mxing different methods and constantly changing from one to another. Most guys who are confused with what method to use usually jump from one style to another and just end up being totally lame in general.
So if you want to become a master pickup artist, choose your style, master the seduction knowledge and go out there in field and practice!
No amount of reading and listening to audio books can replace the real world experience you can get.
