Have you been rejected a lot recently?
Don’t worry, you’re not the only one that’s been getting shut down.
What’s important is that you understand how to handle rejection in a healthy way so that you’ll learn from the experience.
There are many reasons that people get rejected, and it happens to girls as well as guys so don’t be despondent if it happens to you.
Some people are completely shocked when rejection happens to them, and they feel disbelieving, and very disappointed. They wonder why something like this would happen to them, and they try to think of the things they must have done to deserve it.
The fact is that they haven’t done a single thing.
Encountering rejection in your every day life, but especially when you are approaching women or trying to attract them is NORMAL.
What is NOT normal is to not get rejected at all.
If you’re not getting rejected at all it means that you’re not putting yourself out there and you’re not taking chances.
This means one of two things.
You’re a pro at what you do and you have 100% success rate.
You don’t try hard enough.
I think most of us would agree that we don’t try hard enough if we don’t get rejected.
So don’t worry, it happens to ALL of us.
The important thing is not to dwell on the past or what happened, but to move on with your life and create more positive experiences.
Here are some suggestions on how to deal with rejection and not be too affected by it!
This article is primarily for guys who are upset about getting rejected by girls, but the principles and theory are the same for any kind of rejection that you’re facing.
Nothing lasts forever
Nothing lasts forever, and you will not be upset by the experience of being rejected for too long. It happens to everyone. It’s just a stepping stone on the way towards great success, as you are learning from this. Many guys get totally confused about how to deal with rejection, but it is not a big deal. Not everything in life happens the way we want it to, and we have to adjust to the tough conditions with confidence and courage. So, remember this time will past. I bet you in 6 months you’ll hardly remember what you were so sad about right now.
Don’t take it personally
Sometimes people are rejected for things that have nothing to do with them personally, but rather are due to reasons not within their control. For example, she didn’t give you her number, and you might be thinking “oh I failed I said something stupid”, however what if she was actually really in a rush? What if she was married? What if she just got dumped by her boyfriend? There are thousands of reasons why a girl would reject you. Don’t think that it ALL revolves YOU.
Being rejected therefore does not mean there is anything wrong with you. It just means that something else is waiting for you around the corner. Have a belief in yourself and take courage in what you do, and if you have weaknesses t is good to quietly work on those without losing the self confidence that you have already.
It’s not the end of the world
Even if you are struggling to deal with rejection, it doesn’t mean that your future is tainted. Would you like to be judged according to the actions of someone you have never met or had anything to do with? Hell no! Neither would I! So don’t think for one second just because she declined your invitation to ask you out she’s mocking you and that it’s going to harm your future. You don’t know her and she doesn’t know what she’s missing out on.
You need to understand this. Being rejected says nothing about your worth as a person. The rejection quite often occurs for reasons competely unconnected to you. It might actually be a blessing in disguise.
Don’t be a sour grape
Don’t bad mouth and say negative things about the person who rejected you, as it will just make you look bad and turn the whole thing into a great drama. Who needs that? And even if you were in a relationship with her and she dumped you, it is better for you personally to forgive and forget. There must have been something great about you that attracted her to you in the first place. Sure, give it some thought and if you did something wrong, accept it and make sure you don’t do it again next time.
Remember, EVERYONE gets rejected at one point in their life. I mean the PUA Mystery was rejected so many times that he actually created the Mystery Method. so really think of rejection as a blessing in disguise. That’s how to handle rejection like a real man.
