Do you want to know how to pick up women online?
I see that there are so many guys on Facebook and Myspace who want to pick up girls but go about doing it totally incorrectly.
This makes them the laughing stock of their friends and scares girls around them away!
Serious, don’t be the guy that I use as a conversation opener when I ask a girl “so what did XYZ douche bag do to try and impress you” to a girl I’m trying to seduce. I’m saying this because I want to actually help you. Do not let me use your crash and burn as a pick up excuse for me to use on the girl that you tried to get with.
Not only are you making yourself look bad, you’re making it way too easy for me and other guys out there like me who “get it”.
Now, this wouldn’t be a bad thing if it weren’t for the fact that idiot guys like that give us normal guys a bad rep. This in turn makes it harder for all of us to meet girls online properly because they are so afraid of meeting creedy dudes.
So what do you need to do in order to pickup girls online without looking like a freak?
Make sure you’re REAL
What do I mean by this? I see many guys out there who clearly lie on their profile in order to get the attention of girls. This can range from putting up old photos of themselves to make themselves look better than they are, or they’ll just say things like “oh yeah, I studied at Harvard” or “I got honours when I graduated”. Or something retarded in order to try and make themselves look like “THE MAN” in front of the girls that they want to impress.
Well if you do this, what you’re doing is setting yourself up to fail. You’re creating false expectations in her mind so that when you do meet up, guess what? You’re not going to live up to ANY of her expectations and you’re going to make it impossible for her NOT to reject you.
Why? Because you’re a blatant lier.
Honesty is important both for the online world of dating and offline. So please make sure you’re REAL.
Don’t act desperate
A lot of guys actually act pretty desperate online without knowing it. This can range from constant status updates every 30 seconds to posting a message on the walls of as many girls as they can find. I don’t know why I need to elaborate on this point, but I always see guys doing this kind of retarded things.
Let it be known that if you do message a girl, guess what? Other people can see it too. They can also see that you sent the same/similar messages to the past 30 girls you’ve managed to click on within the past 10 minutes.
That’s just being totally desperate.
Also, if you update your status ALOT it tells the world one thing. You have nothing else better to do and you’re not an important person.
Do you see Steve Jobs or Bill Gates on Facebook posting stuff like “oh I’m the library studying” then 30 seconds later “I’m at the computer labs”. Seriously who cares.
Go under the radar
What do I mean by this? Instead of posting on the walls of the girls you want to talk to, why don’t you send her a personalized private message. Most of the time be prepared to NOT get a response. The reason for this is, the more attractive the girl is, the more random messages she’s going to get. Therefore the bigger her ego will get and the less likely she’s going to respond. So the only way to get around this is to send her a funny yet personalized message that will be sure to grab her attention.
The reason for sending a private message is two fold.
First of all it makes you stand out. Her wall will be full of useless posts that every other guy is talking to her about. Secondly, your activities will NOT be known. So even if she rejects you, it doesn’t matter. You have OTHER girls to message who DO NOT know that you’ve tried the same line on 10 other girls. At least one of these girls are bound to respond. And if NOT, then seriously you need to change the way you approach her.
Remember, if you want to learn how to pick up women online, you need to understand what you do can be seen by other people. So it’s like a double edged sword. Make sure you deal with issues I mentioned properly and don’t scare girls away online before you even get the change to seduce her.
